About
Amy has a Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism and mass communication from the University of Minnesota, and since 2010 she has been working closely with researchers, scholars, authors, and job seekers to edit and format their articles, books, proposals, letters, posters, presentations/slide decks, and resumes and CVs.
With a unique background as both an editor (specializing in academic research and business communications as well as health and biological sciences, psychology, education & school counseling, diversity & multicultural studies, sports research, and narrative nonfiction) and a former recruiter (with over a decade of experience recruiting and consulting with job seekers primarily in the healthcare and life sciences industries), Amy is also an expert in resume writing. She has worked with countless job seekers to help them tailor their resumes, CVs, cover letters, and social media profiles to highlight and showcase their skills, advance their careers, and land their dream jobs.
Amy specializes in line editing, copyediting, and formatting; has experience editing in American Psychological Association (APA), Chicago Manual of Style (CMOS), American Chemical Society (ACS), and American Medical Association (AMA); and can offer either a comprehensive solution or customize a plan to accommodate specific needs.
